For L’s 6 month photos, I dressed her in one of her brother’s shirts and took photos. I decided to match them up with the photos I took of J. You can see how much I’ve grown as a photographer and how different they are! I love these milestone images of L. She’s too cute!
I wanted to try something a little different and I took this gorgeous little family to downtown Minot, ND. There were so many cute places to grab pictures of the eclectic town of Minot and I am so happy with how fun these images turned out to be!
I can never get enough of these two interacting together. L loves her big brother and J loves his little sister. They are always having fun and laughing together and I love that the memories I can capture of them.
August was Breastfeeding Awareness Month. I decided to breastfeed many years before J came along and before he came, I was scared and worried not because I might not be able to but because it seemed so strange and exposing. And it was, but then it became so much more. It became a bond and a journey and a lifestyle and I love to help other moms celebrate all of that and bring awareness to the beauty of the journey. So I organized this nursing event to capture all these mamas and show them off.
My little man started back to school and I had to document it! He adores school and he is nothing but crazy personality. He was asking our tree to transform and dancing and just having a blast playing outside. I am so happy he loves Pre-K and that he gets to go and do his thing all by himself!
L got in the box. She’s such an easy baby to photograph but she started crawling so I’m sure that’s about to change for me. O_O
I cannot get enough of these box photos, they are so much fun!
Boxes are the stuff of childhood and perfect for capturing the personality of my little guy. he’s always so much fun when we do sessions like this, making silly faces and doing all the little weird things I ask him to.
We recently adopted a kitten through a local rescue, For Belle’s Sake, We took our time naming him, contenders were Optimus, Ollie, Baxter, and Noodle. J was our tie breaker and he picked Popcorn.
The kitten seems to be adjusting well to our hectic home and he gave me hell trying to get these photos. But I think he will get used to the camera and sit still longer sooner.
This little guy was turning one and we celebrated with some time at the playground, balloons, and family pictures! This family was a dream to work with despite me making fun of them for how silly they were being to get little man’s attention! I love celebrating milestones with families like this and in 10, 20, 30 years they will have memories of little man to look back on and be thankful! I’m so glad I can help preserve these memories!
