This mama came to me wanting to photograph her last pregnancy for her husband. While at first she didn’t want to share with the world, once she saw how absolutely beautiful they were, she changed her tune completely! I am so in love with these images and as a mama of two I cannot express how important I think maternity images are!
For my last session at the Abbey, I explored the grounds one more time for a maternity session that mom and dad wanted casual and intimate. I think we succeeded in capturing the love between these two and the laughter they both shared. I was so happy to have been able to work with them before we moved as I am a sucker for new mamas! I’m so sad to be missing out on the chance to work with their gorgeous little girl but I was happy to be a small part of their journey! They’re already an amazing set of parents! Congratulations and good luck!

A few weeks ago, I shared the debut of a little girl (Fresh48 – Hey There Little One and Newborn – Bigger than a Rugby Ball) and here mum and dad were so happy with my work they referred me to today’s couple and I am so thankful for the chance to share in the joy of new life with both.
I have working lately on focusing on calm, casual, almost documentary style photography lately, especially with the bump to baby work I am able to do. I am so in love with capturing the magic of our lives and there is nothing more magical than creating life with the one you love.
I have been wanting to explore lifestyle photography more and I had a great couple to work with on my last maternity session so when they welcomed me into their home, I worked hard to capture more of the beauty that is their love! Mini Mama Maternity!
I am so amazed at how sweet they are together and how quickly they relax and how many great shots I can get of them interacting and loving each other. Their little girl showed up early and I know they are going to rock as parents. I’m so thrilled for them and their little girl is so lucky to grow up in a household of love! Congrats again!
I got to take another family into the woods in the heat wave, this time with two big sisters to welcome a new little one! They loved reading and posing for the camera and mama was absolutely gorgeous!
The woods are my new favorite place to take pictures. I love the colors and the simplicity of it all.
Congrats and good luck to this little family as they prepare to welcome their new addition!
When I was contacted by this mama for maternity pictures, I immediately jumped at the chance. I had never done them before and was excited to try something new. And when our little mama told me her vision, I knew this session would turn out so gorgeously. So when we showed up to the parc and it was filled with locals fishing and all of the big things we wanted to use were roped off, we did our best to find each other (yep it was THAT roped off) and capture these perfect moments.
I have to say, these two were so cute. They’re high school sweethearts and it SHOWS! They had a blast and were so easy to work with (though daddy is soooo tall!). I cannot wait to meet their little mess.
