The other day, you got to see my biggest family yet and today you get to see a tiny offshoot of that family. It’s such a hard thing when you’re a military family to build and maintain the relationships of extended family. It’s hard to know how many people are out there that love your children from afar so when they’re all together, it’s always a gift! And this family, all of them, are nothing but love! It’s such a joy to share in that love! So a huge thank you to this big, big family and their littles for letting me be apart of that love!
Sorry for the delay in posting, we’ve had a busy week here welcoming a new family into our unit, preparing for our own move, and taking care of out little mess maker! I have been working diligently on some amazing sessions in the mix of all of that so be prepared for some gorgeous family portraits!
I had the pleasure of working with this cute BIG family and we had such a blast and it was such a challenge to make sure we captured all of the small connections and the big. But I think we succeeded in getting a ton of laughs and a ton of great memories to have for a lifetime! Stay tuned to see more of the littlest one here with her mom, dad, and big brother!
Father’s Day is coming up soon and today I debut my first mini for the season! This family was a ton of fun and a mixture of cultures as mom hails locally from Belgium and dad is Italian! He’s from Rome so we may run into him on our trip this July!
Although brother was a little apprehensive, sister was all in right away, and dad was a character! He got both of the littles laughing and engaged and he was pretty expressive himself! I had a great time shooting in the woods for this location and it looks like such a storybook location, I’m so in love with it!
The last time we visited Villers Abbey, I worked with the family that didn’t stop! I have to tell you, not many kids do stop… which makes my job fun!
This time we had a family of six (1 more than our last visit to the Abbey) full of littles who were 4, 3, 2, and 0 years of age! This mom and dad team were fantastic and the littles were so sweet. Big sister A knew everything (even things about me!) while the littler sister (keep up!) was very picky about getting her picture taken (though rest assured she did end up sitting pretty and posing for me at the very end). The brothers, N and R were very stoic though I got a few smirks from big brother N and laughs from baby brother R. Okay, now that I’ve confused you all, here are their portraits!
This week, I was able to get out with a family of 6 (my biggest yet!) into the city of Mons. We walked around, me armed with a purse full of candy, them armed with big smiles and a lot of love! The best part about this session while we were shooting was how easy it was to get these kids, and mom, to laugh! They were such a hoot and when I opened the photos up, I fell in love with the colors mama dressed the family in! I am so happy with this session I may have to share a few more later!
While doing my mad dash to Easter, I got out one evening with a new family for their first family pictures in years. We met at the local parc and found out that only mom spoke English though the rest of the family was fluent in multiple other languages! We had a great time anyway exploring the parc and getting to know each other. The littles were so sweet together, often times playing in the sweetest way making it easy to capture some beautiful candid moments. The family was so in love with each other and so excited to get in front of the camera that my job was pretty easy this time around.
Thanks so much to this beautiful family for letting me document their love!
Today I bring you not just one cute little one for Easter, but two. I got to work with a big sister and her little brother for Easter sessions and we had a blast. Big Sister A was a good egg who loved to pose for the camera and Little Brother B (who was not so little, he weighs as much as Mess Maker J!) was a smiley little man. We got some great shots and I am excited to share them with you!
This was my first chance to work with a little baby and toddler and I had a blast. It was so fun to see the littles interact with each other and to have little A model for me (she was so well behaved and listened so well to Papa!). Thank you for joining me for Easter!
