The last time we visited Villers Abbey, I worked with the family that didn’t stop! I have to tell you, not many kids do stop… which makes my job fun!
This time we had a family of six (1 more than our last visit to the Abbey) full of littles who were 4, 3, 2, and 0 years of age! This mom and dad team were fantastic and the littles were so sweet. Big sister A knew everything (even things about me!) while the littler sister (keep up!) was very picky about getting her picture taken (though rest assured she did end up sitting pretty and posing for me at the very end). The brothers, N and R were very stoic though I got a few smirks from big brother N and laughs from baby brother R. Okay, now that I’ve confused you all, here are their portraits!
While doing my mad dash to Easter, I got out one evening with a new family for their first family pictures in years. We met at the local parc and found out that only mom spoke English though the rest of the family was fluent in multiple other languages! We had a great time anyway exploring the parc and getting to know each other. The littles were so sweet together, often times playing in the sweetest way making it easy to capture some beautiful candid moments. The family was so in love with each other and so excited to get in front of the camera that my job was pretty easy this time around.
Thanks so much to this beautiful family for letting me document their love!
This week, I got to work with a little girl who, for some reason, just stole my heart. She’s always very serious but I love watching her crawl around and Mess Maker J enjoys giving her hugs when they play together.
We went out to the park on a sunny afternoon and mom brought the cutest hat for little A to wear in her Easter photos. I’m just so in love with these photos and they turned out so gorgeously, I am very proud of myself! Haha. I am really happy with how well they turned out, technically, and composition wise.
And my favorite, the exact last shot of the day…
That’s the wall art photo for me! Need that one larger than life!
Thanks little A for bringing the attitude to my sweet little sessions!
This weekend, I got to work with a gorgeous little family in celebration not only of Easter (so more coming soon) but the big TWO for little M! The camera scared M a few times but that didn’t stop her from yelling Happy Day while we were playing in the park. She got us to sing Happy Birthday quite a few times and even got Daddy to sing Hot Dog for her!
The best part of photography, for me, is meeting families and seeing the way they love and interact with each other. Usually Mommy does the song and dance for laughs but this time Daddy didn’t hesitate to join in and go a step further! It was such a treat to spend time with this gorgeous little family.
I can’t wait to share my first Easter session with you guys next time, stay tuned for more photos of gorgeous little M!
Mr. W’s mama contacted me to get some photos of this sweet little man for his upcoming birthday. He’s turning the big ONE! Mama spend the whole night before shopping for the perfect outfit when in the end, she stripped him down to his birthday suit! So, let that be a lesson to you, naked
babies toddlers are the best kind of toddlers! I had such a great time taking photos of this sweet little man who, though started out serious, gave us a ton of gorgeous smiles!
Thank you Mr. W for your A+ participation. Mama and I both agree, you look as gorgeous as a doll. But in a manly way!
I can’t wait to celebrate at this little man’s party! It’s such a joy to celebrate that first crazy, hectic, stressful, terrifying, and ultimately rewarding year of life! Congrats W and family, you made it. Only a lifetime left!
